Jemma is an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about helping babies, children, adolescents, and young adults strive towards achieving their goals. Jemma enjoys making therapy fun and engaging for her clients and their families.
Jemma has extensive experience working across a range of healthcare settings including hospitals, outpatients, private practice and in the community. She has experience working in paediatric, neurological, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Jemma was awarded the University Medal when she graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (1st class Honours) from the University of Newcastle. She has completed the APA Paediatric Level 1 Course, standing frame and walking frame prescription with ASTRIS PME, and gait analysis and AFO prescription training through the CPA.
Jemma was destined to become a paediatric physiotherapist. From a young age she fell in love with movement, learning new things, and exploring the natural world. She has experience working as a former swim instructor, anatomy tutor, and dance teacher. Outside of work, Jemma enjoys swimming, surfing, and spending time with her family.
